EDC’s Talent Initiatives team analyzed the region’s talent pipeline for entry-level business roles, leveraging insights from 126 companies in San Diego County with a total of 24,000 employees. With findings around hiring challenges, job growth, and more, the Talent Demand Report serves as an industry guide for education providers on the skills students need to access quality, in-demand jobs in the region.

Together with Apprenti, EDC invites companies with advanced manufacturing operations to hire registered apprentices in order to create a pipeline of critical, diverse, and emerging talent and support our local workforce. As part of this program, apprentices will tentatively begin in Summer 2024, with training completed and full-time onboarding in Winter 2026.
